Community Information Representative Volunteer
Dorothy House Hospice
We’re looking for volunteers to help ensure people in our area can easily find information about us
* Distributing Dorothy House (DH) leaflets & posters in local shops, cafés, community venues and NHS settings * Seeking new places where information could be displayed & letting us know where DH is underrepresented * Building light, friendly relationships with staff & community contacts * Feeding back anything useful you notice while out & about * Attending community events, fairs, markets & local gatherings * Supporting DH information stalls * Chatting to members of the public, sharing how they can support us & passing on things requiring follow up by staff * Helping at events

The skills you need * Is friendly, approachable and enjoys chatting with people * Reliable and happy to operate independently as well as part of a team * Likes being out in the community * Wants to help Dorothy House be visible and accessible to everyone * Is reliable and comfortable in busy or varied event settings
