Music Volunteer - inspire & demonstrate your instrument
Orchestra of Everything Foundation
Perform for primary school children, inspire a love of music, and help them try out our instruments.
OOEF delivers free music education to 270 children aged 7–11 at two Bath primary schools in deprived communities — massively high impact, with a 39% reduction in suspensions and the attention of the DfE and Bath Spa University. For many of our children, OOEF is their first encounter with live music. As a guest musician you'll perform for them, spark curiosity, and help them try instruments from our own collection. Visit once or regularly, solo or with others. Any instrument welcome. Sessions are supervised by OOEF staff throughout

Interpersonal, Empathy, Flexibility
You are often the first live musician these children have ever seen up close -- that is a significant moment. It calls for someone who can play with confidence, engage a room of curious and excitable primary-age children, and create a sense of wonder. We are not looking for perfection. We are looking for musicians who love what they do and can share that joy generously and accessibly. The children's enthusiasm will do the rest.
A genuinely joyful experience -- children are the most honest audience you will ever play to. You will introduce music to young people who may go on to play themselves, and join a growing community of musicians supporting OOEF across Bath.
