Football Volunteer

Bath Mind

Our volunteers help support a friendly football session with Bath City Football Foundation.

Detailed Description

Listening skills are more important than football skills for our friendly football group, supporting Bath Mind and Bath City Foundation staff and volunteers. Players sometimes need time out to talk about difficult feelings or experiences, and that's where our volunteers offer valuable and caring support.

Why these skills are required

Volunteers need to be physically fit and resilient with good listening and interpersonal skills. Experience and/or enjoyment of football is desirable but not essential.

Bath Recreation Ground.

The Rec is a 15-minute walk from Bath Bus Station. Alternatively, you can take the D1 discover to Laura Place, followed by a 3-minute walk to reach the Rec, or the U1 From Dorchester Street to St Mary’s Church, followed by a 4-minute walk.
