Volunteers needed for a variety of part-time roles.
We are currently on the lookout for volunteers to: Support school age children with their homework and revision at our Tuesday Learning Space study club Join the rota for our Tuesday lunchtime creche Help us sell items of donated clothing on Vinted Support and advise on applications to FE and liaise with FE providers Be our Wellbeing Navigator, and research health, fitness, wellbeing and social activities to share with the people we support

We are looking for volunteers who can emphasise with people from displaced backgrounds, as well as being curious and respectful about cultural differences. We welcome volunteers who are warm, friendly and who would enjoy working as part of a multi-cultural team. For our creche and study club roles, experience with pre-school and school aged children is desirable. For our FE support role, knowledge of the FE sector in Bath is essential. Familiarity with email and WhatsApp is also useful, and for our Wellbeing Navigator and Vinted selling roles, being able to confidently carry out research online and use the Vinted app is essential.
Our volunteers report that they find getting to know people from different cultures and backgrounds interesting an rewarding, and that they enjoy being part of a warm, welcoming community. We provide comprehensive induction training, ongoing support and regular social opportunities for our volunteers.
Our creche is from 12pm-2pm on Tuesdays. Our study club runs from 4pm-5.30pm on Tuesdays. Other roles are flexible.
