Climate Hub Volunteer
Climate Hub
Join our friendly team at Climate Hub, we are based in the Bath Bus Station.
Volunteers help to open and close the Hub, chat with visitors, share information about local projects, and keep the space looking bright, inviting and welcoming. You’ll also have opportunities to help at events, talks, and workshops if you wish. Full training, support, and resources are provided, and volunteering can be as flexible as you need, whether that’s a regular slot or occasional help. The Impact - By volunteering with Climate Hub, you’ll be helping to build stronger, greener communities in Bath and North East Somerset one conversation at a time.

No specific experience is needed, just enthusiasm, good communication skills, and an interest in climate or community action. We particularly value kindness, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team. Training, support and guidance are provided for all roles.
Meeting others and fostering a sense of community cohesion can improve health and give a strong sense of purpose. Engaging in Climate change matters can help manage concerns, as you will be part of a friendly change-makers team. You will have ongoing training and support in your role. If you are looking to develop skills, need career support or want to feel more confident volunteering can help, and you will be helping build more resilient communities. We will be happy to supply you with references should you need this. Finally, you will be making a real impact on Climate matters by getting local people started on their eco journeys, and spreading the information you give them access to.
The Hub opens between 10-1pm Mornings and 1-4pm Afternoons. We particularly need volunteers for Monday & Saturday to allow us to start opening on these days. However any time and input is appreciated. Volunteering with the Hub is flexible to suit you. You can commit to regular or ad hoc times both are just as useful and valued.
