Helpline Volunteer

No Panic

No Panic is looking for helpline volunteers to provide reassurance and anxiety self-help advice.

Detailed Description

We are looking for more volunteers to take calls on the No Panic Helpline. Every day we take multiple calls from people suffering from severe anxiety, such as OCD; Panic Attacks; Phobias or General Anxiety Disorder. They are desperate for help. We are open 365 days a year 10 am to 10pm. Our volunteers are trained to provide reassurance to callers and explore with them self-help ways to manage their anxiety. Everything is done from home, including training. A phone and a computer with internet connection for Zoom are needed. Shifts are 3 hours per week; training 1 night a week for 8 weeks.
