Children’s activities sit at the heart of everything BRLSI does and to run it we need a team of committed volunteers. The Academy of Imagination offers a variety of opportunities, both public facing and behind the scenes and we work with volunteers to build confidence and skills. Academy of Imagination at BRLSI promises a rich and stimulating working environment, enormous amount of fun and a rich calendar of volunteer social activities. Full training and support is supplied for each role, and BRLSI strive to assist volunteers in both the building of their skillsets and development of their CVs. We are always willing to offer references for regular committed volunteers . All volunteers are given the BRLSI volunteer handbook to assist them in their wider learning about how the institution works.
Sign up to commit to weekly Academy of Imagination core team sessions where you get to develop or deliver workshops or alternatively become one of the Academy of Imagination's events team which run regular festivals and school holiday activities.
