Volunteer Driver

SWAN Transport

Give a lift, change a life! SWAN are in need of volunteer drivers with their own cars.

Detailed Description

Volunteers use their own cars to transport passengers to various locations across BANES. Mileage and relevant expenses are reimbursed via BACS. Many passengers are considered vulnerable so we run a full DBS check for all volunteers. Commitment is very flexible - ideally a minimum of one journey a week is preferred, but anything helps! We aim to connect our community and tackle loneliness one journey at a time. Without people willing to give their time to help others, we wouldn’t be able to provide the 100s of passengers across BANES access to independence and companionship.
