Volunteer Walking Through Grief Coordinator - Winsley - 1.5 hrs - Mon/Tue and 1.5 hrs - Thurs/Fri

Help coordinate our drivers to bring our Day Patients to/from Dorothy House Hospice for their appointments and for them to meet other patients.

Detailed Description

We are currently looking for a volunteer to support us with a new role at Dorothy House. Our 'Walking through Grief' group is a community group for bereaved people, some who have had direct contact with Dorothy House, and some who are members of the public. Walkers can join walks up to 3 times a month. The walks normally take place on 1st and 3rd Tuesday and the last Sunday of the month. Our group of volunteer walk leads organise the walks and these are communicated with our list of walkers. As our volunteer coordinator we would ask you to volunteer twice a week, for 3 hours (1.5 hours either Mondays or Tuesdays and 1.5 hours on Thursdays or Fridays. Responsibilities include: liaising with the walk leads to obtain information about the walks forwarding information about each walk via email to the walking group Collating the names of all those who would like to attend, and feeding back to the walk leads prior to the advertised walk date.
