Social Group Helper

Age UK Bath and North East Somerset

As a volunteer, you'll help older people connect and enjoy their time at one of our social groups. You might assist with escorting members to and from the minibus, chatting and listening to them, serving refreshments, and helping with mobility. You’ll also have the chance to share ideas and join in on fun activities.

Detailed Description

Help older people enjoy a fun, sociable time, connecting with others and boosting their wellbeing by supporting one of our community-based social groups. Volunteers might assist with activities like tea and coffee sessions, games, light exercise, or simply chatting and making everyone feel welcome. Your involvement will create a warm and friendly space where everyone can make new connections, feel valued, and enjoy their time together.
