Our shops are a hive of activity and the heart of the community. We want you to join our team of amazing volunteers and help us raise even more money, so we can make a real difference.
Stock sorting: assisting in the sorting, preparation and presentation of goods donated for sale Researching: looking up items on the internet to identify them and set a suitable price Steaming: using the steaming process to help prepare donated clothes and fabric items for sale on the shop floor Customer service: being friendly and helpful to customers in order to increase sales Till-operating: serving and assisting customers, taking payment for goods and entering transaction into cash register Housekeeping on the shop floor and in the stock room The skills you need An interest in the shop, and an enthusiasm for raising money through its work The ability to work as part of a team and get on with other volunteers in the shop Be able to provide a friendly, high-quality service to customers A willingness to help with a range of tasks in the shop, and to undertake tasks as requested Reliability and Punctuality
